28 July 2003The Women Surrealists in Mexico exhibition currently at Bunkamura also features the work of two very interesting photographers...and two more reasons to see this show. Lola Alvarez Bravo shot numerous intimate portraits of Frida Kahlo, including as well as experimenting with photomontage. Kati Horna, a little known Hungarian photographer outside of Mexico who counted Remedios Varo amongst her close circle of friends, also has a number of evocative works in the exhibition.
